Open positions

Vacancies change with client demand, so rather than promise a list that may be out of date, Renvric explains how roles are advertised, which kinds of people it hires, how to apply speculatively and how to make a strong application when no role matches exactly.

01

How vacancies are handled

Roles open and close as client work and teams change. No standing list of vacancies is claimed here, because an outdated list wastes your time. When a role is open, it is described by its responsibilities, location and the skills that matter. If nothing matches your background today, a speculative application is still welcome, and will be considered when relevant work appears.

Kinds of roles Renvric typically hires for

01

Engineering

Backend, frontend, mobile, cloud and platform engineers, plus specialists in integration and data.

02

Quality engineering

Test designers and automation engineers who help teams know what works before release.

03

Design and research

Interface and experience designers who connect user needs to technical possibilities.

04

Delivery and project leadership

Project and product managers who keep scope, risk and communication honest.

05

Business and operations

Roles in client relationships, finance, people and administration that keep the company running.

03

Locations

Renvric has offices in San Diego, USA and Punjab, India. Roles are linked to one or other, and some include collaboration across both. Where a role permits remote or hybrid working, that is stated, along with expected overlap hours. Eligibility to work in the country concerned is checked at the appropriate stage; please do not send identity documents at the outset.

04

How to make a strong application

  • State the kind of work you want to do and why, in a few sentences, in your own words.
  • Highlight two or three things you have delivered, and your specific part in them.
  • Mention what went wrong in one of them and what you learned.
  • Link to code, designs or writing if you can share them, and explain context if you cannot.
  • Say what you are looking for in your next role, including any constraints on location or time.
  • Keep your CV readable: clear dates, concrete outcomes and no padding.

05

If no role fits

Suppose you are a mobile engineer and only backend roles are open. Say so, and explain how your experience connects: perhaps you have designed APIs from the client side and know exactly what makes them painful. A thoughtful speculative note is more useful than a mass application. Be specific about the kind of work you would like, and expect that a reply may depend on whether a relevant need exists.

06

What happens after you apply

Applications are read by a person. If your background fits an open role, you will be contacted about the first conversation. If not, you should hear that too, ideally with a note on whether to apply again later. The full set of stages is described on the hiring process route, and timing varies with the role and the people involved.

07

Equal opportunity

Renvric welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and is committed to hiring on skills, experience and potential. If you need adjustments to apply or to take part in interviews, say so and arrangements will be made.

Common questions

Experienced professionals and early-career candidates looking for a role in engineering, quality, design, delivery or business operations, based in or near San Diego or Punjab, or comfortable working across both. Students seeking placements should see the internships route.

A CV and a short note about the work you want to do. Links to code, designs or writing help but are optional. Mention your location, availability and any need for adjustments. Please leave out identity numbers and photographs; they are not needed to begin.

Your application is read by a person. If it matches a current need, you will be invited to a first conversation, and the remaining stages follow as described on the hiring process route. If there is no match now, you will be told, and your details may be kept for future roles if you agree.

Yes. Send a speculative application that says what you want to do and why, with two or three examples of relevant work. It will be read and considered when a suitable need arises. A reply cannot be promised for every note, but a specific message is far more likely to be noticed.
