By service

Delivery examples are grouped by the service that produced them, so a buyer shopping for custom software, cloud migration, data engineering or quality assurance can read how that discipline was applied. This explains how examples are linked to services, what each will cover, and how to ask for material when a service has nothing published yet.

01

Looking at work through the lens of the service

Buyers often know the kind of help they need before they know the industry or technology. They might want a legacy system modernised, an analytics platform built or a test practice put in place. Browsing by service lets them read how each discipline was approached, what was hard and what the client received at the end.

What each service example is built around

01

Starting situation

The condition of the systems, team and constraints when the engagement began.

02

Approach

The method chosen, such as phased replacement against a single cutover, and the reasons.

03

Deliverables

The concrete artefacts the client received, from working software to documentation and runbooks.

04

Trade-offs

What was given up to gain something else, such as speed against flexibility.

05

Handover

How knowledge and ownership moved to the client or to a support team.

03

Questions this arrangement helps answer

  • How does the service run from start to handover, and what does the client do at each stage?
  • What kinds of decisions were left to the client, and which did the team make?
  • How were risks identified and tracked?
  • What documentation was left behind?
  • What would the team do differently on a similar project?
  • How was quality demonstrated before acceptance?

04

Selection and honesty about gaps

Examples are included only with client consent and are never invented to fill a gap. A service may have no published example because the work was confidential or because it is newer. The absence is not hidden. Renvric can still describe the method and show sample artefacts under appropriate terms.

05

A buyer's route through it

Consider a product team weighing a move from a monolith to services. They might read the modernisation examples first, noting how teams sequenced the work and kept the old system running. They would then ask Renvric how that approach fits their codebase, test coverage and team size, and use the answers to shape a discovery.

06

What to prepare for a service-led conversation

  • A short description of the system and its age, size and main technologies.
  • The outcome you need, in business terms.
  • Constraints such as dates, compliance, budget range and available internal staff.
  • Any previous attempts and what happened.
  • Who in your organisation will decide.

Common questions

Buyers who know the discipline they need and want to see how it is delivered, including technical leaders comparing methods and procurement teams comparing providers on a specific service rather than on industry or technology.

The service you are considering, a rough sense of scale and the main constraint, such as a date, a regulation or a legacy system. Renvric will then select material close to your situation and explain what may be shared and what remains confidential.

No. Some work is confidential and some services are newer. In that case Renvric describes its method and offers sample artefacts or a private walk-through, and says plainly where it has nothing to show.

Measures are shown only where a client has confirmed them and agreed to publication, and the description states how they were measured. Renvric does not publish numbers it cannot support.

Write to info@renvric.com naming the service and your context, and the message will reach someone who can discuss relevant examples and approach, and who can say honestly whether the service you want has published material or not.
