Oracle Services

Renvric works across the Oracle estate: Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM and SCM, NetSuite, Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and E-Business Suite upgrades. We advise on fit, implement and integrate, and supply Oracle-skilled engineers, keeping scope, decisions and acceptance criteria in writing so finance, HR and operations leaders can see what is being delivered.

01

Where Oracle fits in an enterprise landscape

Oracle is rarely a single product decision. A mid-sized manufacturer may run NetSuite for a subsidiary, an E-Business Suite instance at headquarters and Oracle Database underneath several bespoke applications, all feeding one consolidation spreadsheet. Renvric starts by drawing that real landscape, because the right next step depends on which parts are strategic, which are tolerated and which are quietly expensive.

Oracle's strength is usually in pre-built, integrated business processes: financials, procurement, order management, workforce management and planning delivered as one suite. That strength is also the constraint, since the value comes from adopting the standard process rather than rebuilding the old one inside a new product.

Product families we work with

01

Oracle Fusion Cloud applications

ERP (financials, procurement, project management), HCM (core HR, talent, payroll) and SCM (inventory, order management, manufacturing). Delivered as a cloud service with a regular update cycle; confirm current release terms with the vendor.

02

NetSuite

A cloud ERP often chosen by growing and multi-subsidiary businesses. Work typically involves OneWorld set-up, SuiteFlow workflows, SuiteScript customisation and saved searches or SuiteAnalytics reporting.

03

Oracle Database

Performance tuning, high-availability design, patching strategy and moves to managed or cloud-hosted deployments.

04

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Compartments, networking, identity policies and workload placement for databases and Oracle-adjacent applications.

05

E-Business Suite

Long-running on-premises ERP estates where the question is whether to upgrade in place, host differently or plan a move to Fusion Cloud applications.

03

When Oracle is a good fit, and when it is not

  • It suits organisations that want an integrated suite across finance, supply chain and people processes, and are willing to align operations to standard flows.
  • It suits groups consolidating several legacy ledgers into one chart of accounts and one reporting calendar.
  • NetSuite tends to suit businesses that have outgrown accounting software but do not need a large-enterprise implementation programme.
  • It is a weaker fit where the core differentiator is a highly bespoke process that no standard module can express without heavy extension.
  • It is a weaker fit where leadership will not make process decisions, because a suite implementation turns every unresolved decision into a configuration delay.
  • A narrow departmental need, such as one approval workflow, is often better served by a lighter tool than a suite.

Three ways to work with Renvric on Oracle

Start with Oracle consulting if the question is whether, what and in which order: assessment, fit-gap, roadmap and licensing-edition guidance. Move to Oracle implementation when the scope is known and needs configuration, integration, data migration and cut-over. Choose Oracle staffing when you already own the plan and need functional consultants, technical developers or database engineers inside your team.

Project-based delivery is often the clearest first engagement because scope and acceptance criteria are written before work starts. Dedicated teams and staff augmentation follow naturally once the programme is running.

05

Work around the core application

  • Integration of Oracle with banks, payroll providers, e-commerce, CRM and warehouse systems, using Oracle Integration or middleware chosen to suit your estate.
  • Data migration from legacy ledgers, item masters, supplier and employee records, using the vendor's file-based import approaches where they fit.
  • Reporting and analytics, including embedded reports, BI Publisher style statutory documents and external warehouse feeds.
  • Upgrades and replatforming for E-Business Suite and Oracle Database estates, including testing of customisations.
  • Managed support after go-live: incident handling, update-cycle regression testing and small enhancements.
06

A scenario: an ageing E-Business Suite estate

Consider a distributor running E-Business Suite with years of custom reports and forms. The board wants to move to the cloud, but nobody has a list of what the customisations actually do. A sensible first step is an inventory that sorts each customisation into retire, replace with standard, or rebuild as an extension. That list, not the licence conversation, usually determines the shape and size of the programme.

07

Risks that recur on Oracle programmes

  • Treating the implementation as an IT project when finance, HR and procurement own the process decisions.
  • Under-estimating data quality work, particularly duplicate suppliers, inconsistent item attributes and unreconciled opening balances.
  • Customising early to reproduce the old system instead of testing the standard process first.
  • Ignoring the update cadence of cloud applications, so regression testing becomes a surprise rather than a routine.
  • Weak security-role design, which leads to segregation-of-duties problems discovered at audit time.

Common questions

Renvric provides consulting, implementation and staffing for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, NetSuite, Oracle Database, OCI and E-Business Suite upgrades. Related work includes integration, data migration, reporting and managed support. Each can be taken on its own, or combined, depending on whether you need advice, a delivered project or additional engineers in your team.

Compare on process fit, not feature lists. Map your finance, supply chain and people processes against each suite's standard flows, then weigh the cost of adapting to the standard against the cost of extending it. Also consider existing Oracle Database skills, subsidiaries and currencies, integration needs, and whether your organisation can commit to making process decisions on time.

Yes. Support can cover incident triage, user and role maintenance, regression testing around vendor updates, report changes and small enhancements. We usually begin with a short review of documentation, integrations and open issues, then agree how requests flow and who approves changes. Service levels are agreed in the contract rather than assumed.

Roles depend on the work: functional consultants for finance, procurement, HCM or supply chain; technical developers for integrations and extensions; database and OCI engineers; and testers or data analysts. Staffing can be project-based, a dedicated team or staff augmentation, with delivery coordinated across San Diego and Punjab working hours.

With a conversation about your landscape and the decision you face. Renvric then proposes a first step, often a short assessment or a scoped project, with written deliverables and acceptance criteria. You review that scope before work begins, and we agree how decisions and progress will be reported.

Bring a list of the systems in scope, who owns each business process, your integration points and the decision you need to make. Renvric will respond with a proposed first step, a named scope and acceptance criteria before any commitment. See also the wider Enterprise Platforms overview.
