Microsoft Services
Renvric helps organisations get dependable results from the Microsoft stack: Dynamics 365 for customers and operations, Power Platform for apps, automation and reporting, Azure for hosting and integration, and Microsoft 365 with SharePoint for collaboration. We advise, build, support and staff, with tenant governance treated as part of the design.
Start your project
One vendor, several different decisions
Choosing Microsoft rarely means choosing one product. A single tenant can hold Dynamics 365 business applications, Power Apps built by a finance team, Power BI reports used by the board, a SharePoint intranet and Azure workloads run by engineers. Each has different owners, risks and licences, so the first useful question is which of these your organisation needs to design deliberately and which have simply accumulated.
Product areas we work in
Dynamics 365
Business applications such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Business Central, sharing data through Dataverse where they are built on it.
Power Platform
Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate cloud and desktop flows, and Power BI for reporting, with Dataverse as the common data layer.
Azure
Landing zones, identity with Microsoft Entra ID, application hosting, Logic Apps and Functions for integration, and DevOps pipelines.
Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
Teams, SharePoint sites, document libraries, permissions design and migration from older file shares or on-premises SharePoint.
How to choose between the pieces
- Choose Dynamics 365 when you want packaged processes for sales, service, finance or operations and a vendor-maintained application core.
- Choose Power Apps and Power Automate for departmental tools and workflow gaps, provided someone owns governance.
- Choose Power BI when the problem is reporting across several systems rather than data entry.
- Choose Azure for custom applications, heavy integration or workloads that need engineering control.
- Choose SharePoint and Teams for content and collaboration, not as a substitute for a line-of-business system.
- Consider other platforms if your organisation has little Microsoft footprint and the main need is a specialist application, such as a deep manufacturing ERP.
Share the outcome you need and Renvric will recommend the smallest useful next step.
The three ways Renvric works
Microsoft consulting covers licensing-aware architecture, tenant and environment strategy, fit-gap and roadmap. Microsoft implementation delivers the build, integration, migration and cut-over. Microsoft staffing places developers, functional consultants and cloud engineers in your team. A project-based start is usually clearest; dedicated teams and staff augmentation suit continuing work.
Where Microsoft programmes go wrong
- Licensing is understood late, so the design assumes capabilities that cost more than the sponsor expected. Always confirm current licence terms with Microsoft or your reseller.
- Makers create apps and flows in the default environment with no lifecycle, naming or data-loss policies.
- Flows run under a personal account, and stop when that person leaves.
- Dynamics 365 is customised heavily with plug-ins before the standard process has been tested.
- Azure resources are created ad hoc, without a landing zone, tagging or cost ownership.
- SharePoint permissions grow by exception until nobody can say who sees what.
Support for what already exists
Many clients already have a tenant with years of history. Renvric can review it: inventory of apps, flows and reports, environment layout, data policies, service accounts, integrations and open incidents. The output is a short list of fixes ranked by risk, followed, if wanted, by ongoing support for incidents, access changes, release-wave regression testing and small enhancements.
A scenario: departmental apps meeting enterprise controls
Consider a logistics company where operations built forty small Power Apps to replace spreadsheets, and the central IT team now fears for audit. A sensible response is neither to ban them nor to ignore them. It is to separate environments for development and production, apply data policies, move critical flows to service principals or shared accounts, and agree which apps graduate to professionally maintained solutions.

Common questions
What Microsoft services does Renvric provide?
Renvric provides consulting, implementation and staffing across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. Related work includes integration, migration, reporting with Power BI, governance reviews and managed support. You can take one service alone or combine them, depending on whether you need advice, delivery or extra capacity.
How do we decide between Microsoft and other platforms?
Start with the process you are trying to improve and the systems already in use. Microsoft is often attractive where identity, email and collaboration already run on Microsoft 365, and where mixed packaged and custom needs exist. Compare licence implications, integration effort and governance load against alternatives before deciding.
Can Renvric support an existing Microsoft system?
Yes. We usually begin with a review of environments, apps, flows, integrations, identities and open issues, then propose a support model. Typical work covers incident handling, access changes, regression testing around Microsoft's release waves, report changes and enhancements. Service levels are agreed per contract.
How is Microsoft work staffed?
Roles include Dynamics 365 functional consultants, Power Platform developers, Power BI analysts, Azure engineers, SharePoint specialists and testers. Staffing can be project-based, a dedicated team or staff augmentation, with working hours coordinated across San Diego and Punjab. You keep control of priorities and access.
How does a Microsoft engagement start?
With a conversation about your tenant, licences and the decision in front of you. Renvric then proposes a first step, often a short assessment or a scoped project, with deliverables and acceptance criteria in writing. You review that scope before any work begins.
Bring a description of what you run today, who administers the tenant, which licences you hold, and the decision you are facing. Renvric will suggest a first step with written scope and acceptance criteria. See the Enterprise Platforms overview for how Microsoft sits beside other platforms.
